Postcard from Sesimbra, Portugal.
Sesimbra is a Portuguese town belonging to the district of Setubal, Lisbon region and subregion of the Setubal peninsula, with about 5 800 inhabitants (2001). It is the seat of a municipality with 195.01 km ² and 52 371 inhabitants (2008), divided into 3 parishes: Castle, Santiago and Quinta do Conde. The municipality is bordered to the north by the municipality of Almada and Seixal, northeast by Barreiro, Setúbal by east and west and south is the Atlantic Ocean. The mouth of the River Sado, Arrábida mountains, cable and Espichel Pond Reservoir is part of the natural surroundings of Sesimbra. The third parish in the municipality, called Quinta do Conde, also has the status of town (same name).
